In the spirit of giving and making a difference in the lives of New York City women, we are so excited to announce our partnership with Restore NYC, a non-profit serving amazing women overcoming the realities of sex trafficking in New York. Restore NYC exists to find these victims and focus on holistic restoration for foreign national survivors by providing services such as transitional housing, counseling, advocacy and economic empowerment. We found Restore New York coincidentally through the same key word – Restore – and decided a partnership was meant to be. As many of you know, our bestselling haircare product “Restore” is also the name of our beauty flagship, Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa, located at Loews Regency Hotel. We selected this non-profit to highlight how ALL women can experience “restoration” and showcase how locally, we can make a difference against this dark and pervasive issue. As a company focused on the business of beauty, health and wellness, the opportunity to serve the most vulnerable within the same city is as compelling as it is poignant. CEO Suelyn Farel’s reason for the partnership: "We love that Restore New York is a grassroots charity focused on restoring and empowering women. We wanted to make a real impact and will donate $1 for every bottle of Restore sold during our peak sales periods.” To help survivors succeed in their new lives, the Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa staff is providing survivors with transformational makeovers to bring out the inner beauty in these courageous women. Not only will Julien Farel provide physical restoration but also financial resources needed to enter the workforce to fully gain independence. The Julien Farel Scholarship Fund will be available for an aspiring beauty professional to enlist in cosmetology and aesthetics programs.
